Cadillac Mountain ME

There is camping on Cadillac Mountain but for for us it was a day trip from a friends house where we spent a week at in Maine. The drive wasn't bad and included a trip to Bar Harbor for lunch. The view from the mountain was excellent and the walk from the upper parking lot was easy. Wish we had the time to have hike to the top rather than drive but it was still worth it. Be forewarned that road to the parking lot on top is be reservation only and you have a 30 minute window in which to enter. You can stay all day once you are there but cannot arrive more that 30 minutes early.
